A much better patch than the Mets’ New York Presbyterian patch lol.
DeWitt said recently another tower was in design as OCW has been a success. Be patient

Short sighted if they wait to announce just because they aren’t good. Something like that I think would go over a lot better than the patch thing. Most want that announced, might be the only non on the field thing they want to see
Yep. Training happening this morning.dbInSouthCity wrote:Katies is shooting for May 22nd opening.
^ sponsorships with betting companies. Cardinals esp. could get a naming rights type of deal, $10-15M a year from lets say DraftKings or Ballys or whoeverframer wrote: ↑May 15, 2023I'm curious how sports betting would help finance a real estate development?

1. It sure would be nice if a major company, like say Emerson, would want to move into a new BPV office tower.
2. You know what would definitely help fund an expansion? Legalized sports gambling in Missouri. If that had been passed last legislative session, I bet we'd have the expansions already under construction. Without it, I'm not gonna hold my breath.
3. Announcing whether or not the team is winning is an after-thought. I bet there's no hold-up on that part for them to get back to .500 or anything.
Not sure on the exact amount but a decent percentage of Forsyth Point was released prior to construction. It was not spec. office tower.dredger wrote: ↑May 15, 2023My two cent opinion, gone corporate wrote: ↑May 15, 2023Quick thoughts on the next phase of BPV...

1) Yes, and pretty sure every other space in the St Louis region is pursuing Emerson. as well I doubt Cordish/DeWitt is in the running on simply price point alone which is an opinion only as I don't have a way too back up that though. But the only impression I get from them is pursuit of very high return so why would they change now. Why Emerson might go to Forsyth towers? My opinion is the developer was willing to take a bet on some speculative Class A space which is a very different approach that DeWitt/Cordish took with the one office building (part garage) that they did develop..
2) Sorry, don't buy it. I think this is one of the false hopes that always comes with gambling.
3) Absolutely agree that team standing let alone performance has nothing to do with next announcement or decision. I think it all comes down to high return of investment for property that both DeWitt family and Cordish can sit on because they have the means too.
Not only that, but US Capital (the developer) moved its HQ there and Barry-Wehmiller was an early company tied to the building as well. I believe some of their old office space was demolished for Forsyth Pointe. Commerce and Husch joined on before it was completed too.STLAPTS wrote: ↑May 16, 2023Not sure on the exact amount but a decent percentage of Forsyth Point was released prior to construction. What projects do you expect to get started if Butlers Brothers is a success ?dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑May 16, 2023Everyone is waiting to see how Butler Brother leases before they move forward with downtown projects. If it does well, you’ll see half a dozen others. And look for butler brothers partial opening in June to be a big event heavily publicized
Railway, CW2, another new construction around Tucker and Pine/Olive area would move from just an idea to planning.STLAPTS wrote: ↑May 17, 2023What projects do you expect to get started if Butlers Brothers is a success ?dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑May 16, 2023Everyone is waiting to see how Butler Brother leases before they move forward with downtown projects. Here’s a blast from the past from the same area.…another new construction around Tucker and Pine/Olive area would move from just an idea to planning.

I would take Railway and one new construction project.dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑May 17, 2023Railway, CW2, another new construction around Tucker and Pine/Olive area would move from just an idea to planning.STLAPTS wrote: ↑May 17, 2023What projects do you expect to get started if Butlers Brothers is a success ?dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑May 16, 2023Everyone is waiting to see how Butler Brother leases before they move forward with downtown projects. I just don't understand where we are going to get tenants from?
Sorry didn't mean to be sarcastic but it was an honest question. Is 1 cardinal way occupied completely?RockChalkSTL wrote: ↑May 17, 2023Where did we get them for 1 Cardinal Way?
Yes. With 5% vacancy or less. Units are $4 per foot or close to it. It is nothing short of a wild success.
