That's really good if there are actually developers willing to build new multi-family homes as opposed to converting them into single families.

You can't even build a single-family house for $200k anymore.

$0 zoning-only building permit application submitted for a new two-family condos at 3424 Juniata. I'd wager getting demo approved will be difficult.

Anyone know what’s going on at 3250-3252 Grand? Very handsome apartment building that is fenced off with windows boarded. It’s looked like this for a few months.

Yes; it got into some condemnation and other issues and it's now set for interior and exterior renovations.  iirc it won't be a luxe up and should remain more affordable which is good.

Hopefully the previous tenants were able to find decent arrangements; many were immigrants.

Gotcha. It’s a pretty sweet location with the 70 stopping right outside

AHM's townhome project is getting underway. Building permit has yet to be issued but site work has begun. And the Bavarian Inn space still needs leased; c'mon, strudel makers, where are you?
