as with everyone else. .I'm pretty impressed. obviously we'd all prefer all wood or all brick.. I wish the infill housing north east of the delmar loop was this quality..

I'm generally jaded about most city infill, but I really like most of these.
The homes on Fairmount aren't my favorites overall, but I still like them a lot, and I love the killer view from that block!

There are building permit applications submitted for three new homes where one exists on a 140' wide lot. By Jolen Investments LLC. Four houses would have been better. Nevertheless, my dreams coming true! Anyone have a render?

^ will be interesting to see what Jolen does here, they've done some higher-end rehabs but I didn't know they did new builds as well. And what they do with parking will no alley in the rear.
Here's a new home a few doors down on the block by a different builder... hopefully Jolen can do something less suburbany.

$175k building permit issued for one of the four new homes.
There's a zoning-only permit for a two-fam at Nashville and Central.

Is Hogtown Smokehouse a business that is doing well enough to build an extension?
Wondering because I saw a demo permit in the window of the little building next door.
Anyone know what's happening here?

Ran into the owner of Hogtown Smokehouse and asked him directly.
If all goes well, the space next to Hogtown Smokehouse is going to become a dog bar owned by the same people that own The Doghaus in Soulard. May be called The Doghaus II or something similar.

The owner of 6317 Clayton keeps trying to get demo permits. Sixth try since 2016. Now there is a $137,874 building permit application for a parking lot.

Yes, a parking lot is precisely what's needed there. Yeesh. When will they give up that foolishness?
The building doesn't even appear in that poor of shape. I recall a friend trying to even buy it to open.. guess.. a coffee shop.

^I think I have a vague recollection of reading about something like that. On here, maybe, some years back. Wish your friend had pulled it off.
Here's a teardown at 1224 Kraft in Dogtown (Hi-Pointe neighborhood):
