I also reported it. Included links to the soccer team's page and MoDOT Jefferson/64 project page.sc4mayor wrote: ↑Mar 16, 2021^ I reported those months ago lol.
Apple has those updated...but their 3D is even older than Google’s.
They updated much of St. Charles County and West St. Louis County last month. It shows the satellite imagery from mid-July 2020. Its strange that the city hasn’t been updated for awhile.quincunx wrote:When might they update the satellite images? They're getting long in the tooth.

I tired of seeing that gas station at Delmar and Skinker!
I've had luck in reporting errors that got fixed.

Wow, they already updated it. The ramps are still there, but at least they’re marked as closed.
I've reported "Father Biondi SJ Way" no less than 15 times and have had no luck with it.

Streetview cars are back roving the streets again. Expect new imagery in month or two

^^ Finally - some of the street view imagery is nearly a decade old. Hopefully we can get a 3D view update sometime too.
Saw one in Richmond Heights and followed it for a bit.GoHarvOrGoHome wrote: ↑May 12, 2021Streetview cars are back roving the streets again. Expect new imagery in month or two

^ interesting. i always preferred the 3D imagery on Apple Maps but the lack of Street View drove me to Google.
They've been all over the place over the past few years. When I was still in high school, they came through our central circle twice (about 3 years ago). I've since seem them around town.
What the name of the website where you can do two Google Maps views side-by-side at the same scale?
While we wait for Google to update, you can find some slightly more up to date imagery at Zoom Earth. No 3D, but very clear. USGS is even more up to date, but isn't as clear.

SLU Hospital.
Don't know how far the update covers, but no TopGolf in Chesterfield Valley.
The plane or whatever to do the 3D view must've went over earlier this year because it shows 744 before it was cleaned out and no trees with leaves on them anywhere. It's good that they brought it up to speed with fairly recent imagery.
Is this all in Google Earth?
I'm seeing the same old same old on Google Maps.

Yes, but you should be able to access 3D view from Google Maps. Doing it on an app, I’m not sure but desktop, there should be a little 3D or Globe buttonquincunx wrote:Is this all in Google Earth?

It’s Google Maps for me…at least I think. Just the general satellite view I use from my browser. Try clearing your cache maybe.

You can see how far the new imagery goes because it changes from winter to summer somewhere around McKnight/170 to the west, 270 to the north, the Mississippi to the east, and right before Carondelet/Holly Hills to the south
The winter imagery is actually great because you can actually see the houses in the Tower Grove area!GoHarvOrGoHome wrote: ↑Sep 01, 2021You can see how far the new imagery goes because it changes from winter to summer somewhere around McKnight/170 to the west, 270 to the north, the Mississippi to the east, and right before Carondelet/Holly Hills to the south

^I've never quite understood why Google sometimes uses summer imagery. Maybe out west in a pine forest where it makes no difference, but east of the plains in deciduous woods winter images are just the way to go.
