They've been working on that for a while. Hopefully finishes soon.

It looks like they started site work/drilling for McKelvey Hall this week.

Looking like the end is in sight. Steps going in. You can see the One Hundred crane too.

Looks like they're in a race to the finish at this point. Things should look pretty cleaned up by commencement in two and a half weeks.

I saw a truckload of very large trees being delivered to the site a couple of days ago.

I'm usually not a huge fan of living walls, but this one looks pretty good.

^ I wonder if it's better than most as it doesn't "try" too hard ergo it's basically just an accenting design feature rather than an entire architectural wall of the place. It looks almost like a giant mural from a distance rather than foliage slapped onto a wall. In any case, it's nicely done.

This is basically the Wash. U. East End of my youth. Students would play frisbee around a giant old oak or elm tree in the middle of the field at Forest Park & Skinker. In May Thurtene Carnival would be thrown on the parking lot immediately to its west. This is from a few decades earlier, in the early 1960s, but this is basically how the East End looked for the following 40 years:

^ Excellent find.  Some great shots of the campus too.  WU and their partners really hit a home run with this one.

It's kinda weird how they've saved the actual front-door landscaping for last.

Agreed. Maybe the final stone/poured concrete materials were held up? In any event, looks like it's done now and they can just complete the finishing touches and get to the surrounding landscaping.
