Craft Alliance Building on Google Maps

Could Wash U be planning on adding some density to the Western Loop? Looking at the large surface lots on the side of this building, I could see added density being a plus for the area. I just hope any mixed-use redevelopment preserves the facade like the Moonrise Hotel.

I thought the same thing the moment I saw that - lot of opportunity for that huge lot.

I don't think the lot is that big. The Peking on one side is for the old Bread Co. space, the parking on the other is for the retail building to the west. This lot goes back, but I don't think it's any wider than the building.

Yep - and even so, it looks like Commerce Bank apparently owns all of the parking lots surrounding the property anyway... so never mind.

Could someone summarize the article? What does WU plan to do with the building? Is Craft Alliance staying/moving/downsizing?
