Conversion of the old American Eagle credit union building - would not have pegged it for residential, but looks like it might be cool

Hopefully the 'front lawn' on Hampton will get some tree/serious landscaping.

Construction on this is well underway. The whole building is gutted.

This has been open for a while now and the developer has moved on to the Southampton church building at the corner of Macklind and Nottingham.   Old Macklind Ave deli site will be turned into parking for the apartments going in the church

^Are there any units in the actual church, or are they all in the school?

I think some are in the church extension that’s facing Nottingham.  You can see how the bottom windows from the outside match the small bedroom window.  One thing I don’t like about the lower floor units is windows are like in prison, you can only see the sky

They created about ten parking spaces in front of the church, cutting into the existing sidewalk. I'm assuming the parking lot across the street is still a go, unfortunately.

^Holy lord, I just looked at the Zillow listing and that's got to be the most grey I've ever seen in a set of photos that weren't monochrome in my life. It's like they got a sale on grey paint. Or maybe they bought a bunch of colors and just mixed them all together and they came out as a kind of dingy grey. What do they have against color? Or . . . I don't know . . . things? Sure, I get the clean look. But at least exposed concrete has some texture to it.
