Do you know of any planning firm, library, or other resource room which might be interested in the donation of a collection of books on a wide range of urban topics?
I was an Urban Affairs major at George Washington University in the 1970s, and briefly an APA-St. Louis member in the early 80s. During that time and for a few years afterward, I collected related books of interest. I am now clearing out our bookshelves, and I would prefer to give the books to a place that appreciates the subject. I have eight bankers boxes of books on urban affairs, totaling several dozen books. A few notes about them:

I am now clearing out our bookshelves, and I would prefer to give the books to a place that appreciates the subject. I have eight bankers boxes of books on urban affairs, totaling several dozen books. A few notes about them:
- A few of the books are brand new or barely used. Most are used although in good condition, with maybe just a name and old phone number on the inside front page. And some are well-used.
- Hardcovers and paperbacks are included.
- Most of the books are from the 1960s and 1970s, although a few are newer and some are older, dating back to the 1940s.
- There is a wide range of urban topics: geography, political science and local government, history, economics, poverty studies, and planning.
- A small number are by well-known authors, ranging from Lewis Mumford to Herbert Gans.
