Wow. That really is a quite remarkable resemblance. Must have been the same architect or builder, or maybe even the same owner at one time?

The one on N. Grand is actually the slightly more attractive design, I think. Such a shame.

Probably builders would order facades from a terra cotta catalogue. There may be quite a few twins scattered around the country.

The decorative blocks, yes. Sure. But I'd have said the fenestration and proportions are too similar to be just that.
