Over a year ago, the owners of the Tire Mart Building on Locust were putting together a nomination for the historic register.



Are there any plans in place to rehab this building?

From what I can tell, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 21, 2004.

Accoring to the <A HREF="http://www.locustbusinessdistrict.com/" ... ict.com</A> website, it is still being occupied by a couple businesses:



1). Tire Mart Inc.

2). J & J Chain Inc.

I can't find it now but it was posted somewhere recently that this property is slated for residential re-hab, right?

yes, minus those trees, they're gone as part of the infected tree clean up.

Developer will meet with DNA on Wednesday to go over the project.
