I noticed that there appears to be a construction crew working at the old Summit Restaurant in the St. Louis Place building at Broadway and Olive. Anyone know what's going in that space?

Looks like the place will be called Dolce - there's a sign up outside now.

Wasn't that the old Frank Sinatra-themed restaurant?

I don't know how the food or atmosphere was, but I always wanted to try it since I'm a fan of the Chairman of the Board.

Anyway, it's good to know there's another restaurant going in that space. Hopefully we'll know more details soon.

Yep, that was it. I only went there for drinks, but it was a cool place. It seemed popular at the time, and I remember being surprised when it closed. Hopefully the new place will be a good one too - it will be nice to have another dining option for those of us who work downtown. Something new in the Marquette Building would be great too.

^ Hopefully we'll hear more about this restaurant soon. And I really hope we'll see a restaurant and some small stores in the ground level of the Marquette and the adjacent garage soon...

I had lunch their last week. I had their "house" salad with Chicken added to it. It was fantastic. This place is "big city" similar to Anthony's down the street. The food really is excellent.
