South Countians will have a new nightlife option when The Glass Olive opens its doors on Nov. 16. Described as an upscale martini and jazz lounge, the new spot, at 6348 Telegraph Road, will feature live jazz to a 21-and-up crowd after 8 p.m. on weekend evenings. The seasonal menu, under the direction of chef Matt Franke, formerly of the Boulevard Bistro in O'Fallon, Mo., will include flatbread pizzas, cheese plates, steaks, and fish dinners.
