According to today's Business Journal, 1916 Washington (Everset Cafe) has an $8 million conversion slated for 2008. With that timeline and Rothschild involved on both sides of the street, I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.

It seems like that building has been in the process of being renovated for a long time now - or am I thinking of the building right next to it?
So it's Rothschild doing 1916 Washington too? It's been years since that guy announced the building across the street, and still no work. It's a shame because renovation of these two huge buildings would really do wonders at pulling the neighborhood together.
Let's hope he starts moving.

The Hullabaloo warehouse is still on the second floor of that building. A friend of mine works there and she told me that the owner doesn't have any immediate plans to convert the building. I think Hullabaloo is planning on being there for a couple more years.

Gosh another redevelopment plan. How many does this make in the city? Like 40?
