I cannot say I am surprised by these actions but obviously supporting dealerships against Tesla is anti-competitive, anti-entrepreneurial BS. What upsets me most is that they will not let the service centers remain open so Tesla owners will have to go to Chicago to have cars services and they will have to fire over 30 people working in the services center at I-170 and Olive. Apparently, another service center was opening in KC this summer. Of course this was never discussed before yesterday so their could be NO concerted defense against these shady, back-door, smoke filled political maneuvers to support a dealership network that has screwed everyone of us who have ever bought a new car.
