you could take the same shots in loft areas in new york without people. give me a break miguel.

^Hasn't tosspot said before on skyscraperpage that he tries to avoid pictures of people because his stlye or mode of shooting is good for architecture and not people? If that was him, then that could explain the lack of people.

Yes, ... I was shooting triple exposures to get high dynamic range images. In fact, the funny thing is that every single photo I took on my weekend in STL was done in that manner -- and it doesn't work well with moving people and objects. Thus, for these series of photos, the city appears to be void of activity, though it really isn't.



Not long after I shot these pics, I discovered there is a way to do HDR from a single RAW file photo, which works better for daytime shots. If I knew then what I know now, that's probably how I would have approached a lot of the photos I took in St. Louis.

I'm glad you cleared that up. I was just thinking it doesn't seem that dead when I'm downtown.
