^ I’d be willing to be there are some incentives involved in Cincinnati. St. Louis used to pull in big productions quite regularly until the state of Missouri ended the film tax credit program. Resurrecting that program would go a long way towards getting St. Louis back on the map for film production. I’m not so sure the city could (or should) cobble the money together to incentivize that on its own.

I gotta side with the hillbilly legislature on this. Why should Missourians subsidize the production of Movies and TV shows that all too often just want to deride the state as being redneck or post-apocalyptic? "Danish American chef Lasse Sorensen will host a new series on Nine PBS, premiering next month, which explores the diversity of the St. Louis food scene by following the roots of its cultural influences. In each new episode, Sorensen (an immigrant to the U.S. himself) spends time in the kitchens of some of the city’s most celebrated restaurants, learning more about the people behind the food. “Food is what connects us all together,” he says, “no matter where we come from.”

Last night's episode was fun. Lots of great shots of Laclede's Landing (and lots of optimism for it's future growth). The best part was when they visited Munsok So's parent's house for a real Korean meal (with lots of veggies grown in their backyard).
Is American Ninja Warrior now taping at the dome? There were several vans with show placards on the north loading dock yesterday. I see it was originally schedule for earlier this year.

As I recall I first saw that here several years ago. I can only conclude another of the Facebook St. Louis history folks also follows this page, Reddit, or both. Because let's be honest, nothing makes it to Facebook first.

just watched the St. Louis episode and really enjoyed it. can't wait to try Sweet Art's vegan chicken sandwich. i actually had not idea they were a vegan place.
