IMO -
BPV is close to a done deal and will be a huge project.
Wash Ave will continue to gain restaurants/shops as lofts are developed and people continue to move in.
Laclede's Landing seems to (anecdotally) have benefitted from Metro to Wash U and the Casino will draw more people.
[-o< MW Tower is still a rumor, but if built would have significant retail space.
The full development of Chouteau's Landing seems dependent on a the lake and I'm not sure that this project will ever get close in scope to the fantastic renderings.
This leaves the Bottle District: separated from the other major developments and with the least recent hype.

Yes. And we may see more effort (not that they haven't been trying) on the IL side for a MSR bridge. I'd venture to say that the number of workers from MO commuting to IL is on the rise.

That's over $20 billion in construction projects. If half that gets done, it's a huge investment in the region. And I suspect well over half will get done.

Too bad the electric van plant can't get some major backing and support to build the auto plant that was suppose to happen in Hazelwood. That would also be a nice one to add to the list. Especially if it were to be a major automaker.

-I know there are skeptics, but I am hoping Northside lives up t to its $8-billion hype. We must believe and put it in the universe.
-Harbor San Carlos' website is still active and appears to have been updated this year. St. Charles still has it on its website.
[My personal rule is that I do not call a project dead until there's an article or a credible source i.e. developer, economic development offices, a city rep etc. that confirms it. To me, quiet doesn't always mean dead. As long as there are traceables ie. an active current website - I try not to call a project dead. The Streets of St. Charles site, for example, was reincarnated/downsized from an original plan. Maybe the same is underway for Harbor San Carlos].
I will definitely add the St. Louis Zoo's Dogtown expansion because real planning is underway. Also, I do think Drury Hotels will be adding a hotel by the medical center. I believe BJC/WU is the only major St. Louis employment center where they don't have a presence. I wouldn't be surprised if an announcement is made by the end of the year - or early next as I-64 highway construction winds down.
