It is rare that I am the first to reply to anything, so I will utilize this opportunity. I have mentioned in other forums that I am a designer by trade, specializing in scenery for theatrical productions as well as themed entertainment attractions at major amusment parks across the country. Aside from that, I build scale architectural models, conceptual renderings ranging from trade shows to interior design. My wife and I currently own and operate "Scott C. Neale Design". If you are in need of the design services I offer, feel free to contact me on this forum.

It took me awhile to decide to respond, but here goes:

I am an architect for a medium sized firm downtown (and we do some very nice work, if I do say so myself ;) http://www.fox-arch.com. I have done some small projects on the side.

In addition, I am an amateur photographer. In fact, a couple of friends and I have put together our first exhibition: http://www.urbanstlouis.com/urbanstl/vi ... php?t=4727

I literally just posted an ad on craigslist today to sell prints of my sketches from Europe... I am planning to do a full series on St. Louis architecture soon...

You can see a couple images on the craigslist ad here...

If anyone is interested in seeing more prints, please let me know...

I'll update you when I get some St. Louis work completed... to get back in the swing of things, I went to Main Street St. Charles and did a street scene... I'm excited about hopping around the Lou this fall and producing some stuff.

My website is now partially launched. You can view the entire theatre design section but the theme park, tradeshow, artwork and photography sections are still under construction. Check back soon for updates.

I would appreciate any feedback anyone might have regarding the navigation and layout of the site. just send a PM

Say, Magnatron, in case you didn't know, the Des Lee Gallery at 1627 Washington is currently showing models and drawings of the stage designs of John Ezell. Cool stuff. Call ahead, though, because they have limited hours.

BTW, I'm a model builder myself, and I really like the ones in your set design section. I'm into that kind of dark, eerie feel.

I have heard about that exhibit. I have met him on several occasions. Interesting fellow. I hope to get over there to check it out.

I made this watercolor of Forest Park a little while ago and thought The Forum might enjoy it.

It's funny, I am an artist for a living and yet I never have the opportunity to just do art for myself.... Keep it up, it's a great use of time!

I'm posting this on behalf of a local St. Louis musician I met: David Law.

He's currently a dueling piano player at the Jive and Wail, but he's also got a ton of great original music that I think the local community would really appreciate. It's all available for free at his website: http://www.DavidLawMusic.com.

Not sure where to post this so here goes—

I'm sure there are a lot of architects/planners on this forum who can point me to some visual resources.

I am creating a number of Photoshop files of flat building fronts for an ad campaign.

Are there pay sites that have architectural elements such as windows, doors, etc? I will also need elevation views of urban furniture including parking meters, streetlights, fire hydrants, etc. I can shoot and clip out if necessary, but existing images will be more efficient.

I have signed up for cgtextures and gobotree. Any others out there?

cheers and thanks,
shadrach
