Sorry is this is posted elsewhere. What is going on next to the old St. Agnes church (NOT the lofts/former parish hall). There's plywood up in front of the 'side' yard and some type of digging going on behind it.

I drove by yesterday and saw all of the windows out on the second floor of the adjacent bldg/the rectory. I would assume it's being rehabbed. I wonder if anything will be happening to the actual church.

I was baptised in that church, I hope whatever they do, they try to preserve it...

I saw that too. Personally, I'd love to convert the entire church into a single family house with a private chapel and live there, but something tells me that's not a cost effective plan.

^there is a 5000 sq. foot church for sale in Benton Park. A block or two from Venice.

^Yeah, its on Salena. I went in there a few months ago with a client and thought it was pretty cool. The house built onto the back of it and the garage off the alley are very nice, but the house is definitely dated. Not so much dated, but lets say "country." The church is assume though. I kept having visions of a huge front screen projector being set up on the balcony. It would quite possibly be the coolest thing in the world. Too bad its like $500,000.
