What Salt Lake still has: those insanely wide streets.

^Yeah, and don't they also have insanely large city blocks?

Yup.  They're 660 x 660 feet, large enough for family farming plots.  Supposedly the wide streets were planned so wide so that farmers could turn livestock around more easily.

I would think that they could be attempting to lure the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox are currently exploring building a new stadium and I've heard some rumors within the baseball community that they could be looking to relocate, although they most likely won't.

No, this is more of a move to try and get the Athletics. SLC had been in talks with the A's to potentially host them while the new Vegas stadium is built, but I think this is the Miller's making their move to try and get the Athletics permanently since the Vegas stadium saga isn't exactly going smoothly for Fisher.  The White Sox are pretty much locked into Chicago now with their new 78 Site proposal.
