Couldn't find a topic on this so starting one here. Anybody know what is going on with the Saint Alexius Hospital? Specifically, the campus at Potomac and Jefferson. Seems like the complex is partially abandoned, but still partially open?

I believe the North Campus is mostly closed.  I don't think any of the buildings on the west side of Texas are in use.  The South Campus is still South City Hospital, but it's perennially in trouble.

The North Campus would make a great Delmar Divine style development along a future light rail route...

could not find a specific thread for Alexian Brothers hospital
SOUTH CITY HOSPITAL SET TO REOPEN UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP, FOCUSING ON DRUG & ALCOHOL TREATMENT
South City Hospital, formerly known as Alexian Brothers, is making a comeback. At a recent community meeting, new owners announced plans to reopen the facility this year, shifting its focus to drug and alcohol treatment while still operating as a hospital.
With addiction issues running deep especially on the South Side, where fentanyl and other drugs have taken hold this could be a much-needed resource for those struggling. The hope is that this new direction will provide real solutions and help save lives in the community.
Time will tell how it all plays out, but for now, we’re hoping for the best.

^Well, given the history of the place with exorcising demons that actually seems appropriate. Glad to hear someone will be putting the site to good use, and that there will be more medical service in my chunk of town, for that matter.

Has the owner or potential buyer noticed that it's on the tax sale list?

Why shouldn't the city buy the hospital and turn it back into a hospital? Find a system to run it, have STLCC work with it for education, raise property taxes to pay for it. There's plenty of cities that own hospitals and offer free services, even if the wait times are super long.

^The wait times aren't even always necessarily long. I don't think there's anything that would particularly prevent it, save that it might not be the most cost effective way for the city to add a hospital. (Particularly a modern hospital.) The city has owned a number of them in the past, as recently as the 90s.
