Missouri is a cave state. We've got a house in a cave down in Festus. There's an underground hotel in Carthage. We've got a wedding chapel, restaurants, scuba diving, Jesse James, and even an office park. KC's SubTropolis is fantastically interesting.

But who knew Illinois would have something so cool?

There's a six million sq ft storage facility in Monroe County. The Chinese Cargo Hub deal is all about keeping perishables cool. How come MidAmerica isn't advertising the fact that they have a six million sq ft fridge??? :D

Daron, I would give it two reasons.

First, At the end of the day Mid-America still wants warehouses built on their property or adjacent to the airport. This is a lot of competing space.

Second, Rock City doesn't care if perishables and the likes will be transferred to a plane at Lambert or Mid-America. They just went the business to go through them versus a new facility at or next to Mid-America or a new warehouse in North Park.

Either way, Rock City wins if traffic is handled or directed through the region vs a passenger flight out of Ohara or a FEDEX flight out of Memphis.

CNN has a video about the master plan for Helsinki's underground city and the part about data centers is quite interesting.
