i drove south on riverview south of the halls ferry circle tonight coming from alton, already having been a fan of this well kept area of north city. tonight it looked marvelous, with new pavement, curbs, and sidewalks and the old style i guess original pre-modern lamp posts that the city tore out of most neighborhoods. take a drive down or up the new riverview (wait until they finish the intersections, though...which i guess are getting brick pavers at crosswalks). overall, the new infrastructure really sets off the well maintained small businesses that exist on riverview.
