Randalls is OPEN!!!! I saw the open signs yesterday and swung by there last night. It closes at 8:00 (except fridays and weekends) but I was able to look through the doors.............It is ***** huge. For someone who likes to drink (like me) and has interest in buying quality, this place is a godsend for the area. It is definately not just a wine warehouse too. I could see huge shelves of liquor and beer. It is a little bit hard to get to though, I came west on Russell and went north on Missouri to the parking lot. The Jefferson entrance can be a little difficult. The other thing that I am worried about is the giant glass doors. Though they have security cameras and what I'm sure is a serious security system, It looks like it would be pretty easy to pull a 30 second smash and grab. I hope they do well. This place is a nice addition to the near south side.

I dropped in tonight. It is very well worth a visit. Spoke with the manager and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Said the building used to be a trolley repair place back in the day. More recently it was a print shop and apparently it was a real mess and the cleanup was an arduous task. They did a great job with the cleanup. Nice exposed brick with a clean floor. The first thing you see when you walk in is a cherry 1955 thunderbird convertible. A fantastic selection at competitive prices. Bottles of wine $4.99 and up. Awesome selection of micro-brews including Goose Island, New Belgium, Odell’s (90 Schilling!), etc. Grand opening is this Sunday. Check it out if you get a chance. You won't be let down.

Odell's...awesome! That'll take me back to my years in Fort Collins.

Love the Easy Street Wheat and Levity too.

Too bad HC Berger is defunct, that was a great beer brewer.

Yes, those are all great brews. I forgot to mention, Randall's has Flying Dog too!

Outstanding! I'm glad to hear everything worked out and they're open for business. I can't remember the publication(s), but I've already seen some ads for this place. This should be a great addition to the area!
