Not saying i would choose a QT any day over a vacant building but i think the city has enough as is besides we already have a bad reputation of allowing building owners to allow their buildings to rot until they crumble... As far as a fountain i was just having fun with it so I'm guessing you're glad to not being living in the city of fountains

It does indeed, and I say this as someone who loves driving down Chouteau, especially at dusk. It's awesome seeing the lights from the CWE, Midtown, and Downtown. Fo' Chouteau!BrickCity4470 wrote:All of Chouteau Ave needs a complete road diet and some major beautification.
I also like Vandeventer (as a road), and hope to see some improvements there as well.

^ Agreed about Chouteau views... I'd love to see residential/mixed-use on the huge property across the street that SLU cleared. North facing units would command stellar views of downtown, SLU/Grand Center, CWE/BJC/Cortex and Forest Park and Clayton. Plus with Metrolink access, the demand should be there.
As for Vandeventer, I've been surprised to notice some hard-core bicyclists taking that challenge, including some parents biking their kiddos to the Immersion School. The street is going to get some substantial treatments to improve the journey to IKEA; hopefully we'll see some plans soon.
