This needs to be done. The current system sucks, even the proponents settled for it because they couldn’t get ranked choice. This approval voting is dumb. If someone gets 50% in round one they shouldn’t have to go to round two vs same person

BB87, introduced by Ald Clark-Hubbard, would forego the primary election when there are only two candidates since they would advance to the general election regardless.

^ this just makes sense, saves $ and respects voters and politician's time. Likely will result is better participation. Any downsides?

Perhaps some confusion as to whether there is something to vote on in the primary or not.  I think three was a proposition on the primary ballot recently. Was it the cap on short term loan interest?
