The other day I noticed that one of my favorite websites, the Post-Dispatch's building age map, doesn't seem to be working any more. I emailed the online editor to see if they can get it back up and running. There was an update on this today it appears.  Now St. Louis, St. Louis and St. Charles Counties are all included.  See more here:

City data on year built for 1800s is very inaccurate . For alot of the buildings they just use a default year

I wrote to the P-D about this last year, and am thrilled that they've gotten it back up and running. You should definitely take any individual parcel's given year with a grain of salt, but it's very useful to see when neighborhoods were generally built (and where outliers are).
