Is tomorrow, March 29th, for the 6th Ward from 3-5 p.m. at the Moulin Event Space at 2017 Chouteau Ave.

Some of things they've been working on:

More trash cans along streets with bus routes.
Beautification improvements to cul-de-sacs that border the west side of Jefferson Ave.
Improving empty LRA lots in the 6th ward.
Adding signs for the various neighborhoods throughout the ward.
Restroom renovations at Fox Park.
Adding bike lanes throughout the ward.
Adding a pedestrian light at Jefferson & Park.
Providing a sprinkler system for the Orchard Project on Virginia Ave.
Adding bike racks in Compton Hill Reservoir Park.
Traffic calming at Lafayette and Jefferson adding a median in the middle of Lafayette just west of Jefferson.

Many improvements that were suggested at our neighborhood assemblies already have money allocated towards them including:
Repaving the Compton Bridge.
Improvements to Fox Park.
Improvements to Buder Park.
Resurfacing the tennis courts at Compton Hill Reservoir Park.

Voting will run April 1st through 8. I'd encourage anyone living in the area to check out the expo and then vote.

See you there. And one correction, the bike racks proposals states it is for Compton Reservoir Park, but it is actually for bike racks throughout the 6th Ward....good stuff.

Nice turnout this afternoon, and it was quite informative. Took a few pictures of some of the proposals.
