Has anyone had a chance to check out Park West Grille on Jefferson? There are all sorts of restaurants popping up on Jefferson, which is a welcome sight to see and I hope this is a growing trend. This place is great, food was wonderful, staff was attentive and the owner actually came out to speak with us. The menu has pictures of what the building looked like, it was a mess.

I always forget about that place but have been meaning to go there.
There also is a new place, Mattinglys across the street. Its a small microbrewery, the general manager said that they would start brewing their own beer soon. I've had the St Louis and New York styles of pizza and they were both great.

They have Chicago style too. As for Park West Grille, its good but their menu could be a bit bigger. Its really great to see all these places though. There a few more things in the works too. The one big negative is that new convenience mart across from Mattinglys. I've seen as many as 10 people hanging out in front of the place already and it has only been open a couple of weeks.
I totally agree about that convience mart, the owner needs to do something about the loitering. Luckily there is outdoor seating in back.

took the g/f to Park West Grille last night for her birthday. I thought the menu was rather big and varied. Service was excellent as well.
