New UPS Store Opens

Owners Larry and Audrey Jones of Jones Family Services LLC invested over $200,000 into opening a new 1200 square foot UPS Store in downtown St. Louis at 200 North Broadway. The UPS Store is the one stop for all shipping, postal, document, and business support services and has more than 5,000 worldwide locations but this is the first franchise to make downtown St. Louis its home.

Since The UPS Store's founding in 1980, the company has added more than 200 new locations a year, on average, creating a global retail chain one-and-a-half times larger than all of its competitors combined and one of the largest retail outlets in the world. Entrepreneur magazine has ranked it as the top postal and business services franchise for 14 consecutive years.

This is the only minority owned UPS Store franchise in the City of St. Louis and the first UPS Store in downtown. Join the Downtown St. Louis Partnership along with Rodney Crim, Executive Director, SLDC, Darlene Green, Comptroller, City of St. Louis, Larry Williams, Treasurer, City of St. Louis and Alderwoman Phyllis Young, City of St. Louis at the Grand Opening celebration for The UPS Store on Wednesday, January 19th at 10:30 am.
