Should we ask McKee? Bottle Works becomes a prime well connected spot (new Mississippi River Bridge) for a new open air stadium. For all intended purposes its already cleared and under one group of ownership which includes Clayco principles (Clayco is connected to Northpark). Not sure if McKee is connected to that ownership group. On top of it, McKee seems much more connected politically to the State then DeWitt/Cordish are which is what it is going to take to get any kind of money for a new stadium.

You can find some close parallels with the Minnesota Vikings and Rams at the moment. Minneapolis and the State of Minnesota footed the bill for a new baseball stadium and college football stadium. However, Vikings will continue to play in the Metrodome for which they will be the only sports team remaining.

Late addition to the thread and apologies if already here but I came across this last spring. As I indicated in the other Rams thread, using the Minnesota situation as a barometer, hopefully our conversations will eventually lean more this way in the coming year.....
