Thanks Expat! It was exciting to see my husband on TV. I wish I could have been there but I am working on housing issues in New Orleans. Cheers!
UPDATE!!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that they have started on the 4 row houses on the right of the graphic. The project is moving along and they should all be for sale. If you want a new home in Fox Park this is a way to get one!
Cheers!

Great! It's really good to see quality new construction in the city, and they will fill those vacant lots nicely.

Hey - now that we're on the subject ....
there's a fantastic victorian style, white row house catacorner to these new homes that appears to have been (recently) damaged by fire. The buildign still looks solid but everytime I go by the smoke marks remain ... does anyone know if someone is plannign on saving this building?

Are you talking about the house on Russell and Nebraska? This is actually a block up. If so, it is under rehab again. They have painted it and you can't see the smoke marks anymore. I don't know the details but it appears that one or several people have stopped and started on this project a few times.
That's great news! I used to pass that house all the time and wonder if anyone was going to start work on it... the poor house stood with no windows for a long time.
