Now that the 10-story parking garage and bus transfer center is open at Brentwood MetroLink, it will be interesting to see how much usage the garage gets and what the ground level retail it attracts. Today I heard from a Metro official that Starbucks recently signed a lease and a sandwich shop, possibly a Penn Station is in the works. Has anyone been to or knows about how the coffehouse/hot dog stand does at Emerson Park?? Has anyone else heard anything regarding the new garage?? Thanks

Once they build that long delayed and downscaled Meridian at Brentwood building, then these retail and parking will see more activity.

I just wished they get another coffee shop instead of Starbucks.

I want Caribou Coffee to open a few shops in the STL metro area. :)

They have a lease with Starbucks. They are working with a broker to lease the spaces. They do not have any other leases other than Starbucks, but hope to have them leased by September 2007.

The Emerson store doesn't seem to do well at present from personal observation.

What do you want to know about the garage?

I was just wondering because Emerson Park is a principal station, has a large parking lot, and is now the eastern terminus for the Shrewsbury line. I'm sure Starbucks will do fine there-they will probably have a decent crowd of shoppers that aren't even using MetroLink. This will be a big asset to our transit system!
