Now as for those, I was told Green Street also has those under their finger also? Maybe I'm wrong?
There's been multiple vehicles/people on site the last few days - now there's a tractor and a mini crane there today.
Also... I wonder if we shouldn't rename this one like Green Street - Liberty Bell Company Building

Yep - I think we're all anxiously waiting the renderings/plans to be announced.

This is for a different area of town, but it kind of makes sense to go in the Food Truck Park thread.

What is going on with the Liberty Bell Oil building? Facade saved for future development?

There was an apartment complex going in here, but I haven't heard about it since I commented above... I'm hoping with the Green Street + HDA merger means they are working on something big for that side of Vandeventer. I know they have there hands in a lot of the lots over there.

It makes too much sense to have something big, impressive, and urban on that site with the Tower Grove Connector project coming to the area. The city should be pushing for a dense residential and mixed use corridor down Vandeventer in that area between Tower Grove Ave. and Chouteau.
I've said it in other threads, but this is one of the projects I look most forward to seeing completed. For one thing, it should promote density along the Vandeventer corridor. Otherwise, why are you doing this? For another, I like to think it promotes one of our region's greatest parks.
But what I really, really love is how the Connector should help tie up some of the weakest links in that chain from between the Central West End down into the Tower Grove neighborhoods. If this project plays out the way I think it should, that entire area should be nearly seamlessly connected.

I was shown one of the proposals at a holiday party 3 years ago. So yes, but I sure anything current is way different now...
All this is owned by Green Street. I imagine they're waiting for a new Ald before making a proposal public.
I saw a MoDot strip map the other day of the 270 North project and it also appears Green Street owns massive chunks of land along Pershall near the 270/Lindbergh interchange.
Green Street submitted a demo permit application May 5th. I emailed GS Saturday for details and haven't heard back yet.
A demo permit for the remaining facade?
