Rams defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy knows as much about knocking down walls as he does about knocking down opponents.
Since being selected by the Rams in the first round of the 2003 draft, Kennedy has embarked on a passion off the gridiron -- residential construction. He has rehabbed or built 50 homes in the city and is in the preliminary stages of a five-year plan to build a new-home development called Kennedy Place near the intersection of Delmar and Skinker. The plan calls for 274 homes, with a development cost totaling nearly $100 million. The three- and four-bedroom single-family homes and townhouses will be priced under $200,000.
