There's a show at the Pulitzer that any lover of the urban built environment should love. It displays the works of Gordon Matta-Clark, a 70's era artist out of New York. Basically he was fascinated by urban environments slated for demolition - so he went in with [some kind of very powerful saw] and cut out huge slices of them. His art literally consists of excavated chunks from now demolished urban buildings. I'm no art critic but any lover of old buildings should get a kick out of it ...
