Don't want to discourage civic participation but its hard to feel like MODOT cares about these public comments at all. All for show as far as I'm concerned.
Positives:
- Brickline Greenway extends from Compton to Grand.
- Grand Blvd Roundabout created, access to and from interstate from Grand Blvd here, and Theresa Ave. access is introduced.
- Developable space is created west of grand (armory adjacent), and removal of market street ramps.
- intersection of FPP and Grand remains untouched
- a few of the spaghetti ramps will be preserved in this phase.
I though that's not MoDOT's.dylank wrote: ↑6:48 PM - Apr 30Positives:Negatives

It's beyond ridiculous that the intersection of Forest Park Parkway and Grand has not been reconfigured by now. How many more confused motorists, injured pedestrians and serious car accidents do we have to endure before the intersection is improved? I just drove through the intersection, and it's crazy that there isn't even a street sign on Forest Park Pkwy eastbound indicating the exit at Grand. Can you imagine how many SLU families from out of town wind up on Highway 40 eastbound because they have no clue that they had to get in the right lane to exit at Grand? Asinine. And that's just one of a hundred problems with that cluster**k of an intersection. #RantOver

TOTALLY AGREE and have written basically the same in the past. I am surprised/ disappointed that SLU has not pushed to have that intersection re-done

It really is surprising they would not want to change the main entrance into campus…it is so bad for an otherwise pretty campus
