I have noticed that many of the Hardees in the county have Red Burrito restaurants too. I have never been to one of these FF restaurants. Has anyone eaten there? If so, was the food good???? I read that RB is the midwest version of their Green Burrito chains in the west. I'd assume this is their answer to Qdoba and Chipotle. This is a good move for Hardees in my opinion.

I've eaten at Red Burrito twice. They give you a lot of food and I think they're using good quality ingredients for FF, but it kind of lacks the flavor, variety, and creativity of Qdoba. The burritos remind me of something anyone could make with basic ingredients from the supermarket.

i ate there once and agree with Nora. in fact, the marketing aspect with Red Burrito confuses me. i'd rather go to Zuzu's as it's nearby, authentic, tasty, nominally priced and quick.

Their website says the downtown location is now open, but it doesn't tell you where it is! Which also implies other locations, but it doesn't tell you where any of those are either.

Zuzu is at 217 N. 7th Street. http://tinyurl.com/3xhmv5. Yeah, pretty silly there are no locations on the Zuzu website.

Noticed the other day that it appears as if Hardees is going to raise their restuarant at Hampton at Wilson near 44. The place is closed and construction equipment is in the lot. It says Hardees/Red Burrito coming soon. It will be nice to have another option there, nicer restaurant.

It will be interesting to see a two-story one. I don't recall ever seeing one before.

The original Hardee's is now gone. I would imagine they will turn this around pretty quick.

The old Grand Center Wendy's was two stories. Although I don't believe they were the ones that built it.

I'm pretty sure DOGTOWNB&R meant "razed" instead of "raised".

^ Thank you for that catch. I had no idea how we had turned this conversation in to two story fast food restaurants. I guess when I read "raised" I knew he meant razed.
