Does anyone know what's going on with the building near Hampton and Watson that used to house The Gathering Ground (or the Nerd Store, as I used to refer to it :) )? It's being renovated, but there's no sign of who the tenant will be (if there even is one).
I've been trying to figure that out for some time as well. The floor insid was completely dug out, there was even a backhoe inside at one point. The outside has gotten a new entrance and some other stuff. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Is a Crazy Bowls and Wraps replacing this derelict gas station at Watson and Hampton? Tao + Lee involved? A fancy Crazy Bowls and Wraps? Zoning only building permit application submitted.

I've always liked that apartment building behind the trees on the left side of the pic (although I've heard it hasn't been kept up very well).

Gas station site has been cleared. Also, the old Bobby's Place building now has a for sale sign out front - sadly it looks like Byrd & Barrel is not going to happen, atleast at Hampton and Watson.

SOHA put up some serious steel. They appear to be adding a rooftop bar.
