^^aprice, Do you have a link for that?
I'll reach out to Landmarks but I doubt they have anything online yet for their campaign. They've been working on a new website for several years but Non-profit work can be tough, ya know?

^I do, actually. I might possibly have an overdue newsletter I need to publish for one nonprofit and a slightly less overdue video to publish for another. Sometimes volunteers are well intentioned, but slow. Hopefully Landmarks can attract a better grade of volunteer than me. ;-)

Not sure if this has been posted before. There are plans for a "peace park" at the water tower. The Green City Coalition is seeking input on the design. More info and a survey form here:

"College Hill neighbors and friends have been exploring ways to improve the health and overall landscape of their community. As the only St. Louis neighborhood to not have a park, residents identified a need to revitalize a block of vacant and abandoned properties known widely as Peace Park".

^It's been labeled on Google Maps for a little while now. Not sure when it first started. But I love the vision for the neighborhood.

Looks like a fantastic project that will really pack a punch for the community. Hopefully the other three corners around the tower can develop better than the shown renderings though. Would love to see one day see similar massing to what used to be there. The wraparound retail buildings were amazing.

^Love that first shot. Looks like a group of school kids about to get a tour of the tower.
