Thanks for the update. Certainly glad to hear they're committed to seeing something get done. Or at least supportive.

It may be a case where the restoration of the buildings north of it (along with the restoration they did to the Southside Bank building) can spur enough activity to make the Arcade building attractive for redevelopment.

i don't know a damned thing about real estate or development, but i don't understand why the buildings to the north would be more financeable than the Arcade building. they're both mixed use, and the Arcade seems to have a good deal more commercial space.

^Demo and replacement would be much nicer, but . . . oh well. Honestly, I could even live with an old style White Castle lunch counter as a storefront in a new building. That would almost be cool. No drive through, and in our post-plague world not even a dining room. Just a walk up counter. Old school.

How about in something like the old Little Dipper space? Classic tiny White Castle vibes there.  I love seeing the tiny WC's from the old days.

^I miss them. Used to stop at the one on Chippewa at Hampton every now and then. I'd swear there was another that lasted pretty late, but I can't quite recall where it was.

That's the best White Castle in St. Louis so I'll allow it.
