Interesting!

It looks like the post on the right edge of the rendering says "Grovefest." On Google maps there is a "Grovefest" post near the intersection of Manchester and Taylor. The rendering looks like it might fight well on the parcel of land immediately west of (and possibly including) Manchester Market, just west of Manchester and Taylor. If so, it looks like it would stretch from there to Cadet, the street that connects Manchester to McCormack House, the retirement community that borders Kingshighway.

The sidewalk in the rendering matches up nicely with the one on Google maps as well: map

Just a guess based on Google maps and where a building this size might be appropriate. I haven't heard anything about plans for this site.

^ Good call on the location; you very well may be right. And It looks like the Manchester Market parcel and adjoining parking lot were bought in May.... maybe the new property owners have something in mind; however, I'm not sure the building in the rendering would fit on their property alone.

Would make for a great western anchor / counterbalance to the Green Street mixed-use project.

I remember looking at that rendering once before, trying to figure it out. Seems like Manchester has a bend at that slight angle in two spots: Manchester and Cadet, and Manchester at Chouteau (the Commerce site). I was leaning toward the latter.

Well, the right half of the building looks pretty decent, whatever it is.

A guess, but anyone thinks that the Gils are up to something. Just being a little more discreet about it and incorporating a bigger parcel with some structured parking on one end of the development.

The blank brick wall along the sidewalk harkens back to the way the Renard Paper building looked before Urban Chestnut moved in. Not terribly pedestrian friendly.
