Took the family down there Saturday afternoon and was blown away by the the crowd size, crowd diversity and the energy of the event. It really showcases everything St. Louis is and can be. Also, Tower Grove Park is a gem.
^ Didn't make it this year but we love going as well. Crowds are huge and diverse (as you mention), there's food from around the world and several stages with performances running almost constantly both days. One of the best events in STL, IMO.
I've always loved it in the past. Didn't make it this year, but hopefully next year.
Big crowd on Sunday. Tower Grove is a gem - the streets that hosted the vendors were packed, but the lines were still well managed (never spent more than 5 minutes in line), plenty of space to spread out in the shade. We were by the secondary stage so entertainment all day but nothing overwhelmingly loud at all. People watching is normally enough entertainment.
Empanadas from the Argentina booth stole the show as they always do. Although the Bulgarian vendor had some chicken tacos which were delightful. Always a must hit event.
