I'm surprised they haven't made much progress on it. I went on the loft tour in summer 05 or 06 and i had the opportunity to check it out. The 6th floor was the only one that they let anyone on but I thought they would of done something in the past year or two to the place. I hope they keep the name Chemical Building, besides Alexa sounds so generic and lame.

The building was named after the Chemical Bank. It was supposed to be the banks new headquaters, but for some reason the bank never moved in.

I got a good look inside some floors in this building. No camera available. There is one floor where all the windows look out along the row of lions heads on the bldg next door. That was incredible. The one finished unit I saw looked great.
