Sorry to be a downer, but there has been terrible news coming out of Ely Walker Lofts again.
At this point, it really seems the city has to step in. Original owners have sued Lux Living to no avail. A judge had previously appointed a receiver but that receiver declined. An original owner tried to be the property manager, but was hamstrung by Lux Living. In short, the owners have tried everything (organizing, lawsuits, their own labor) but to no avail.
If anyone on this forum is well connected and can advocate for Ely Walker residents, please do so. We need the help of city government.
