I have printed this thing out and hope I can get my hands on a real copy since my printer isn't color. I can buy the STLPD around the corner from my office. Anyway, it is fun to see everything listed together with pics. The whole thing is evidence that a new downtown St. Louis isn't just a concept. It is really there - living and breathing. Couple of quick notes: Copia on Washington Avenue said to open July 2005. First I have heard of it and looks beautiful. Would be fun place for rooftop restaurant. Multimodal station - they are showing a modern building and claim a Fall 2005 start. I hope this is true! Pinnacle rendering - they are showing the more interesting early rendering rather than the most recent rendering I have seen???
Thats the "old" pinnacle rendering. They posted a new one a few days ago on their website that (in my opinion) looks atrocious. Does anyone know what the official status of this project is ... which rendering, if either, is the real deal
I walked around the Washington Ave. area west of Tucker yesterday during jury duty lunch break. The area had a lot of activity and is looking prosperous. I was impressed by the atmosphere of a real neighborhood emerging.
