Desktop Backgrounds - St. Louis

Here is a picture I found on Flickr that I'm currently using for my Windows background. I thought it might be fun to have a place for people to insert other photos of St. Louis that might make an interesting Windows background. To make one of these your background, just right-mouse-click on it and select "Set as Background" from the pull-down.

This is a great idea for a photo thread. I am currently using the photo posted by Gary K. as background - it looks really good (Thanks!). I will use some of the others eventually. Anybody have other good ones to add to this thread?

Not sure if anyone's interested, but I've got tons of pictures taken at MOBot that work well as wallpaper - kinda St. Louis related but couldn't be identified as such at a glance:

ahh .... everytine I see Eads lit up a part of me dies inside. why o why can;t we get permanent lights on Eads .... It makes the city look fanastic - and it can't cost THAT much

Forget the old lights. We need LEDs on the Bridge. All these bridges use LED lighting.

160 LED light fixtures light up the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles. During the day a solar photovoltaic system offsets the power needed for the project.

I don't have any desktop icons. I prefer my desktop to be very clean. I use a dock bar for any programs that i might need to use.

Robert's tower is going to be very present in that last shot, as well as skyhouse. That's going to be a real cool shot in the next 2 years.

That is very true. The new condos may not be apparent in the stereotypical skyline shots from Il, but they will make a huge difference from other angles.
