Does St. Louis have that last bullet point?

So Plano will charge each visiting NHL team $100,000 per game? And do the same for the Stars? So $8,200,000 a year in fees from NHL teams? Half from the Stars and other half from rest of the league

It will certainly kill the free agent/trade market for the Stars.

Truly don't understand the "appeal" in moving to either Houston or Dallas. The growth in both metros is absolutely confusing to me.

I think a lot of it is Lemming Syndrome. People see thousands of people flocking to one area, and they simply join the march, assuming there must be a reason for it.

Yes, growth is contagious. Cities like Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix etc. are growing because they a new which brings a lot of construction and service jobs.

Years ago I drove from Dallas to Houston, which was flat and boring, but I notice more the grass was burnt, brown.  It was summer and over 100 degrees.  I know part is the market, but you can't complain about heat and humidity here and move there.  Less winter, but in Dallas it can still occur and cripple the city.

13. "Dallas, Texas. The city feels like a collection of sports teams with a bunch of highways connecting them."
