That stretch of Oleatha (between Morgan Ford and Kingshighway) in Tower Grove South is one of my favorite parts of the city.
I drive it everyday. Wouldn't say it's one of my 'favourite' parts of the city, but that and the weird stretch of Gustine/Bingham are definitely some of the most interesting, if not jankiest, parts of the city. Actually, that whole UP rail line and all the semi-shuttered industry/rail spurs is makes South City so 'South City.'

^ what I like about it is that stretch embodies a "working" city... modest houses with diverse population and immigrants on the south side of the street with quite a few employers on the north side from line work to engineers. Far from fancy, but the very fabric of a functioning city.
Maybe I missed it on another thread but Cupples 1 indeed purchased by McClure Engineering as reported by St Louis CNR last week

^ I also think I posted it elsewhere, but this is the building where the Nashville-based bar featuring local music acts will move into later this year. Goof stuff.
Also, BizJournal has a sub article about Brado, a marketing research firm that moved out of Cupples 1 and into Cupples 9, where it will be expanding and set to receive some MO State incentives.
