Hm, seems like Collinsville is finally doing something worth mentioning. I picked up a pamphlet downtown and searched on the city website for a posting.

Uptown Collinsville Summer Nights

May 31: Shrek the Third: When Shrek married Fiona, the last thing he had in mind was becoming the next King, but that is exactly what will happen if he can not find a suitable replacement for King Harold; but their best candidate, rebellious Medieval high school slacker Artie, proves to be a challenge.

June 14: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off: John Hughes' magical comedy about how playing hooky for a single day can produce a lifetime's worth of adventure. Matthew Broderick is Ferris, a guy who knows the value of a day off.

June 28: The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep: This magical motion picture is rooted in one of the most enduring and intriguing legends of our time. A boy finds a mysterious enchanted egg that sets in motion an adventure that leads to the journey of a lifetime as the sea creature of Scottish legend is born.

July 12: Transformers: This action adventure pits the Autobots against the evil Decepticons. When the two intergalactic races wage war, they choose Earth as their battleground with machines changing shape between cars, trucks, planes and other technological creations.

July 26: Bee Movie: Barry B. Benson, a bee who just graduated from college, is disillusioned with his only job prospect, honey. He ventures outside of the hive and talks to a florist.
